16 Months to 2 Years
Details
What fun toddlers are! During these wonderful months, young children begin expressing themselves with words, showing and (sometimes loudly) telling us their preferences and personalities galore. During this age, some children drop down to one nap. We adjust our schedule as needed to accommodate valuable sleep or quiet time for all our nappers. Each day, you’ll receive an update on what your child ate, how they napped, when they needed diaper changes with added details about the day. When it’s time to transition to the preschool room, we create a plan based on the needs of the child and your wishes.
What to Bring
Each toddler needs diapers, wipes and pull-ups as needed, powders/ointments, saline drops/gel, blanket for rest time, and a complete change of clothes should be available in their cubby.
Each day, they should come dressed ready for play with weather appropriate gear as needed, including shoes that can be toddled in outdoors. Additionally toddler approved sunscreen, bug spray, a sun hat and a small backpack help make adventures possible.
When potty training has started, please add training pants with plastic pants or pull-ups, plus a couple of extra changes of clothing each day (don't forget the socks!).
