We opened Dreamers Academy to provide high quality, highly personalized childcare for children age 6 weeks to 5 years. Our thoughtfully designed program blends age-appropriate developmental activities, responsive and reflective approaches to meet each kid at exactly where they’re at with a true love of the silliness and surprise that is childhood. We know children learn best in an inquiry and play based school, with dedicated teachers who seek to really know them as individuals and collaborative with parents to help each child thrive. Our West Town location is ideal for local families as well as those who commute by us each day.
Meet the Owner
Doyin Ajilore is a life-long educator and caregiver. With teaching experience that spans the globe, including India, Gabon, London, Nigeria and France, she’s focused all her expertise, passion and joy into leading the Dreamers Academy team right here in West Town. She’s motivated by a desire to encourage children to live fully, find and follow their dreams, connect with each other and their communities. She knows kids play to learn and directs a program rich with inquiry, exploration and curiosity. A mother herself, Doyin encourages open communication, ongoing trust and an in-it-together approach with all Dreamers families.
Our Teachers
We seek out Chicagoland’s brightest early childhood educators. Our teachers are eager to work with parents and collaborate alongside their colleagues to provide the best possible experience for every Dreamer. We’re looking for that ideal blend of responsibility, personality, flexibility and fun. On any given day a teacher can be a boo-boo healer, reader of every voice in a storybook, helper navigating hurt feelings between friends, expert swing pusher, explainer of how clouds work to a curious child, encourager to try a new food, cheerleader during potty training, protector of the magic of childhood. It’s a role that requires an open heart, a strong mind, and a good sense of humor.

Bright and airy, we custom designed every inch of the space. You’ll find plenty of spots for impromptu imaginative play, cozy places for rest, places for gathering as a community and inviting special visitors in.
